MGM has just announced cult favorite mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap will be making its way onto  Blu-ray editions on January 20th.  Now hopefully it won’t spontaneously combust into flames when you open it!  You’ll be able to get this one (preferably with oven mitts for protection) for $34.99 SRP. Rock on!

The This is Spinal Tap BD release will be authored in BD-Java presented in widescreen format (1.78:1 aspect ratio) with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Audio.
