The Apartment Collector’s Edition

MGM is releasing the classic film The Apartment on February 5th in a collectors edition. Directed by Oscar winner Billy Wilder, the film starring the late Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, in a film that is a “sophisticated and dark romantic comedy provides a satirical assessment of corporate America, capitalism, success and extramarital liaisons. ” Good enough for the film to be included in the National Film Registry at any rate.

Details are very light but this DVD will include audio commentary from Bruce Block, Film Producer, UCLA Professor and AFI Member. Also included is “Inside the Apartment” documentary, and a “Tribute to Jack Lemmon” . This will retail for $19.98.
