Paging All Muggles, Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince Announced

The latest installment of our favorite teenage wizard’s adventures at Hogwarts is coming to DVD and Blu-ray combo pack on December 8th from Warner Home Video. I find it interesting that the BD-Live feature now comes with Facebook Connect, where now most of your friends will probably be wonder WTF are you doing on Facebook watching Harry Potter. Frankly, I’m not a big fan of BD-Live as its just too unwieldy to ‘type’ with a remote for an entertainment appliance, plus the time it takes to get working is frustratingly slow. But I digress, the various versions have been priced at $35.99 SRP for Blu-ray combo, $34.99 SRP Double Disc DVD, and $28.98 SRP Single Disc DVD.  Here are the specs for this release:

Also of note tucked away in the announcement of this film, is that additional Ultimate editions of the first two Harry Potters will be coming out as well around this time.
