Miracle On 34th Street makes its way to Blu-ray

Fox has just announced the timeless holiday classic and its 1994 John Hughes (hmmm interesting timing with this announcement) remake will be making their way onto Blu-ray October 6th in separate packages. This is a strange date to pick for a Christmas film, how about waiting until closer to Thanksgiving? I don’t see any information if the original has been remastered, so it better look damn good for $34.99 SRP.
