The latest Dr. Suess adaptation Horton Hears A Who is stampeding to DVD and Blu-ray on December 9th. There will be three versions, single flipper DVD, 2 disc DVD and Blu-ray, plus another 2 disc gift set that includes a plush toy of Horton. Aww how cute.  The two disc DVD and Blu-ray will be coming with a digital version as well, pricing has been set at $29.98 SRP for the single, $34.98 SRP the double, and $39.98 SRP for Blu-ray and the gift set. Here is more specific info on each release:

Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who! DVD is presented in a flipper disc featuring both full screen (1.31:1 aspect ratio) and widescreen format (1.85:1 aspect ratio) with English 5.1 Dolby Surround, Spanish/French Dolby Surround with English and Spanish subtitles.  DVD bonus features will include:

BD release will be presented in widescreen format on a 25GB single-layer disc authored in AVC (MPEG 4) compression with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio, Spanish/French 5.1 Dolby Digital plus English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and French subtitles.  BD bonus content includes exclusive special feature:

“Watch Horton Hears a Who! with a Who!” and all above two-disc special edition content with the exception of the DVD-Rom Create Your Own Animation.
