Uwe please stop making these films, signed the Internet

I know this may be a bit off topic for this web site, but I found it to be a nice chuckle. I have never seen a film made by this man nor do I ever intend to. The boys over at Fearnet asked master schlock film maker Uwe Boll what it would take for him to leave the room permanently. You know, the guy behind such cinematic masterpieces like Alone In The Dark, House Of The Dead, Bloodrayne and others. The relevant quote from the interview:

Are you aware that there is a petition online, signed by 18,000 people, requesting that you stop making movies?
Yeah, I know that. 18,000 is not enough to convince me.
How many would it take?
One million. Now we have a new goal.

Since this has gone public a few days ago the intarwebs has been a flutter with this revelation and the number of signatures for the online petition has grown exponentially. Hell, I decided to lend my hand to the cause. Here are some choice comments from the signers I find amusing:

“For all that is holy, Stop! Stop making crappy movies!” ”

“For the love of god please STOP!!”

“The pain your movies cause me, Is akin to how I would imagine castrating one’s self with a rusty spoon would feel.”

“If we don’t stop you, amnesty international should”

So, if you are so inclined, please lend a hand and sign that petition. Would he stop working just because we say he sucks? Probably not. There’s that select few out there who keep handing over money to see this films somewhere.
